Does Vinted charge sellers?
No. Uploading and selling are free, so a £20 sale pays you £20. The buyer pays the postage and Vinted’s own fee at checkout. Your only costs are optional extras such as Bumps, which make a listing more visible for a while.
What is the Vinted fee the buyer pays?
Vinted renamed its Buyer Protection fee to the “Vinted fee” in its price list. It is a percentage of the item or bundle price plus a fixed amount, usually 3% to 8% + £0.30 to £0.80. On a £20 item that means about £0.90 to £2.40 on top. The exact figure depends on the item and the order, so we show the range.
Is Vinted cheaper than Depop or eBay?
For the seller, Vinted and eBay UK (for private sellers) both take nothing. Depop takes payment processing of 2.9% + £0.30. Compare them for your own price on the home page.
Does the buyer’s fee affect my sales?
It can. Buyers see the item price plus the Vinted fee and postage, so a £20 item can cost them £22.40 or so before postage. When you set a price, think about the total the buyer sees. On eBay UK the buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee too (£1.50 on a £20 item); on Depop the buyer’s Marketplace fee is up to £2.00. All three add the fee to the buyer’s side, not yours.
