How do StockX fees work?
Two fees on the sale price: a transaction fee set by your Seller Level and a 3% payment processing fee. A $200 pair at Level 1 pays $24.00, leaving $176.00. If the two fees come to less than $5, StockX charges $5. StockX sends you a prepaid label, so postage is neither income nor a cost.
How do I reach a higher Seller Level?
By sales each quarter, counted in pairs or dollars, as the table below shows. Each level takes half a point off the transaction fee.
StockX or GOAT: which leaves more?
For a top-rated GOAT seller who drops off and cashes out, GOAT’s fees on a $200 pair come to $24.25; StockX at Level 1 takes $24.00. At Level 5 StockX falls to $20.00. On cheap items the $5 minimum matters more: on a $30 item StockX takes $5.00, a sixth of the price. Use the comparison to set your own price against both.
