How do GOAT fees work?
Three steps. GOAT takes a commission on the listing price, set by your seller rating: 9.5% at 90 or more, 15% from 70 to 89, 20% from 50 to 69 and 25% below 50. Then a seller fee for how you send the item. When you cash out to a bank or PayPal, 2.9% of the amount goes too. A $200 pair dropped off by a top-rated seller and cashed out leaves $175.75.
How can I keep more on GOAT?
Keep your rating at 90 or above, use drop-off where you can, and leave earnings in your GOAT balance if you will spend them there; the cash-out fee only applies when you withdraw.
How much does a lower rating cost?
A lot, because the commission jumps in steps. On a $200 pair, dropped off and cashed out, a seller rated 90 or more keeps $175.75; at 70 to 89, $165.07; at 50 to 69, $155.36; below 50, $145.65. Shipping on time and sending exactly what was listed protects the rating. Compare GOAT with StockX and others for your own price on the home page.
