About My Fee Calculator

My Fee Calculator works out what selling platforms take from a sale, and what you keep, for sellers in the US and the UK. It is free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your browser.

How we check fees

Every fee is read on the platform’s own help or fee page, never on a blog or a forum. For each one we keep the page’s address, the date we read it and a short quote, and the calculators read their numbers from that record. Today it holds the fees of 15 platforms from 34 pages, last read on 7 October 2026.

When a platform showed us another country’s version of its page, we read archive.org’s copy of the official page instead and say so beside the fee, with the copy’s date. When we could not read a fee at all, we show no number for it: it says “not included yet”.

Every month

We read the pages again every month (the busiest ones, such as eBay, Etsy, PayPal and Whatnot, first), update the fees and log every change, newest first, on the fee changes page. A change announced for a later date is stored with its start date, so the calculators switch on the right day.

What we are not

We are an independent website, not part of any platform. My Fee Calculator is not affiliated with eBay, Etsy, PayPal, Shopify, Stripe, Amazon or any platform named, and uses no platform’s logo. The figures are estimates for guidance, not financial or tax advice: check the platform before you sell.

How the site is paid for

By ads, which are never placed inside, above or beside a calculator or its results. We may later add links to tools for sellers; if we do, we will say so where they appear.
